He painted a total of 300 creations, the most famous of which include Nightwatch, The Blinding of Samson, The Syndics, The Anatomy Lesson, and Chiaroscuro.

Joseph Turner (1775-1851) - He is known as the painter of light and as the creator of atmospheric effects. An Englishman, he is known for having laid the foundation of the Impressionism style of painting. He developed landscape painting to an art form. He was as proficient in watercolors as he was in oils. His most famous works include Snow Storm: Steamboat off a Harbor’s Mouth and Rain, Steam, and Speed.

The list of all-time great artists includes the post-Impressionist Vincent Van Gogh (1853-1890), the Impressionist Claude Monet (1840-1926), and Pablo Picasso (1881-1973) the Cubism stylist. The three of them were prolific artists.
